Choose a coach. A coach is someone who will agree to guide and work with you. This person should be someone you trust and with whom you feel comfortable. He or she must be able to meet with you on a regular basis and must be someone who has knowledge of the subject area you need to study for retaking the OGT.
- Set up a meeting to review your OGT results with your coach.
- Use your OGT Student Report to identify the standards you succeeded with and the standards that need more work.
- Develop a schedule to work through online tutorials and OGT workbooks with your coach.
